A.E. Fickert, Inc. was started by Andrew E. Fickert and Darrell Fickert in May of 1951. In 1954 several insurance company adjusters approached them about doing insurance claim repairs and a decision was made that A.E. Fickert, Inc. would specialize in insurance claim restorations.
These are vehicles # 2 & 3. The pickup truck was truck #2, a 1952 Ford. The panel truck was truck #3, a 1951 International. This year we bought truck #101 (see below), a 2004 Ford F-250.
Since then, the company has maintained steady growth to become the largest general contractor of this type in Ohio. Andrew Fickert retired in 1960 when Darrell Fickert, his son, took over. Darrell continued as President until he retired in 1985. At that time, Darrell's sons, Rob Fickert and Keith Fickert, acquired the company from their father. Rob served as President and Keith as Vice President until June 2004. The current President is Mike Bacevich. The Fickert Pride and determination is maintained through all of our officers and employees today.
